I'm a writing enthusiast with a penchant for celebrating the things I'm passionate about with words, and finding the truth of any story.
I majored in Film and Television with a Concentration in Screenwriting at DePaul University, with a minor in Public Relations and Advertising. While there, I had the joy of working on a social media team that specialized in creating engaging and entertaining content for college students that spanned across varying social media platforms. I've also lent my voice to local Chicago theatre productions in the form of promotional tools advertising stage productions.
Most recently, I worked as a Resident Writer for BuzzFeed, where I focused on the Lifestyle vertical, though my editorial work quickly expanded beyond. My work spans from expert interviews investigating the latest TikTok beauty trend to researched lists focusing on internet-famous "ghost stories" that are actually just myths we never bothered to Google. I thrive off of finding new and creative angles to engage with audiences, and can use any platform to achieve success.
